Home Prep Checklist
Use this checklist before your photo session. Check off each item as you go.

Clear all
Exterior
Lawn mowed and edges trimmed
Bushes and shrubs trimmed
Walkways and driveway cleared and clean
Outdoor furniture clean and arranged
Pool/spa clean and uncovered (if applicable)
Garage door closed
Cars moved out of driveway and garage
Garden hoses and tools put away
Toys and yard clutter removed
Porch/patio swept and staged
Interior
All lights on (including closets)
All blinds open and level
Beds made; linens clean
Closets organized and not overstuffed
Counters cleared (kitchen and baths)
Dishes put away; sink empty
Trash cans empty and out of sight
Toilets closed; towels hung neatly
Personal items (mail, keys, remotes) put away
Pet supplies and food bowls hidden
Staging & declutter
Excess furniture removed or rearranged
Refrigerator front clear of magnets and notes
Mirrors and glass cleaned
Fresh flowers or plants (optional)
No visible cords or cables
Throw pillows and blankets neat
Paperwork & coordination
Listing details and access instructions confirmed
Lockbox or key access arranged
Special instructions shared with photographer
Preferred shot list or areas to highlight noted
HOA or community rules checked (drones, etc.)
Day of shoot
Home at target temperature
All interior lights on before photographer arrives
Pets secured or off-site
Family members aware of shoot time
Street parking available if needed
